SD Card setup to boot WEC7

Required Tools:

TI_SDCard_boot_utility_v1_0.exe which is located in the tools folder within the downloaded package.

Using TI SDCard Boot Utility:
|

1) Run the utility, and select the SD card drive. If you?re using Windows Vista or Windows Seven, you should run the utility in administrator mode.

2) In the ?second step? application area (MLO File), browse and Select the MLO file located in image folder.
|

3) In the ?third step? application area (OS Files), browse and Select the EBOOTSD.NB0 and NK.bin files (use ctrl key for multi selection).

4) Click Proceed.

5) Click "Start" to format the SD card
|

6) Click "OK" for Format Warning
|

7) Click "OK" once "Format Complete" window pops up
|

8) Click "Close" to close the format window
|

9) Click "Quit" once the files are copied
|

10) Insert the SD Card into the SD Card slot.
|

11) Connect a NULL modem serial cable to the J507 DB9 connector and to your computer.

12) Open a HyperTerminal (or TeraTerm) connection to the COM port connected to the device.
|

13) Set the port's settings to a baud of 115200 with no flow control, no parity and 8 bits.

14) Turn on the board.

15) In the Teraterm window, press space when it asks to break into the bootloader menu.
|

16) Press [2] to enter the boot device menu.
|

17) Press [1] to boot from SD card.
|

18) Press [4] to enter the network menu.
|

|
19) Press [2] and disable KITL if it isn't already.
|

20) Press [9] and enable OAL messages if they aren't already.
|

21) Press [7] and save these settings.

22) Press [0] or reboot the board, connect the HDMI/DVI cable to a supported display.
