Antenna Information¶

The TiWi-BLE module form LS Research was selected in part due to it's ability to have a U.FL connected antenna opposed to a chip-only antenna. Many (if not all) of our customers designs end up within some type of enclosure and the U.FL allows maximum flexibility for antenna placement. A list of antennas and cables that the TiWi Module was certified with can be found in the device datasheet (TiWi-BLE LSR Docs). Use of those antennas does not require additional FCC/IC/ETSI certifications.

Recommended Antenna(s)¶

Other Dipole 2.4GHz antennas should be compatible but please contact Critical Link (or LSR) and we will be happy to confirm if a specific antenna is compatible and if not suggest a proper replacement.
