Uboot Information¶

The MitySOM-335x WiFi/BLE module uses the same UBoot build as a non-WiFi/BLE module. However in the "factoryconfig" data that is stored in the on-module I2C EEPROM a the module part number is entered with a -BLE at the end. This allows UBoot to detect that the module installed has the TiWi-BLE module installed.

MitySOM-335x WiFi/BLE specific UBoot changes¶

When the TiWi-BLE based module is detected the I2C interfaces are adjusted as only I2C1 is used for communication to the on module Power Management IC (PMIC) compared to both I2C1 and I2C2 on non-Wifi/BLE modules. If this configuration is not properly set (it is assigned at the factory) the following messages may be shown on power-on:

Confirm factoryconfig entry¶

Please do not alter the factory configuration for a module. If you believe the configuration is incorrect please contact your Critical Link representative and one of our application engineers can assist you.
